Help!?
I can't find colored paper, markers, or string — what can I use instead?
If you don't have colored paper for step 2, use plain printer paper colored with crayons or colored pencils, swap markers used in steps 4 and 7 for crayons or stickers, and use yarn or ribbon instead of string for the hanger in step 11.
My scissor cuts or visor coloring didn't turn out well — how can I fix them?
If the crewmate cutout in step 3 tears or looks uneven, redraw the shape on folded paper to make a symmetric template before cutting, and if the visor in step 4 looks flat add a white crayon highlight in step 4 and layer a lighter marker over the marker color to create shine.
How can I adapt this activity for younger or older kids?
For younger kids, simplify steps 2–6 by pre-drawing or pre-cutting the crewmate shapes and letting them stick stickers and color the visor with chunky crayons, while older kids can follow all steps using fine-tip markers, add detailed patterns in step 6, or create foam or painted layered visors for realism.
How can we enhance or personalize our Among Us decor?
Personalize and extend the project by writing room names or game roles on the sign in step 8, making a hanging mobile from several crewmates by tying multiple strings from step 11 to a hoop, adding stickers or tiny task labels during step 6, or gluing a small battery tealight behind the visor for a glow effect.

🎮 Among Us was released in 2018 by indie studio Innersloth and exploded in popularity in 2020 thanks to streamers and friend groups.
🪧 High-contrast colors and big, bold letters make room signs easiest to read from across a room—try black marker on neon paper.
🧑🚀 A single Among Us match can include between 4 and 15 players, split into crewmates (who complete tasks) and impostors (who try to stop them).
